From his early days in elementary school to being voted “Most Artistic in high school, Thom knew undoubtedly that his life would be involved in art. Two weeks after graduating high school in Youngstown Ohio, Thom packed up and began his biggest adventure yet in a move to California. While studying advertising and design at Cal State University of Long Beach, Thom took the position of Art Director at a large publishing firm in Santa Monica, in charge of putting out one of their monthly magazines. Intent on using his artistic abilities, the firm soon also used Thom to create the majority of their editorial illustrations in-house instead of seeking out freelance talent. This gave Thom plenty of opportunity to fine-tune his abilities and experiment with different styles of illustrations.
Seeking new challenges, Thom became an art director for an advertising agency in Orange County, California. Moving forward, he then accepted an exciting position as Art Director at a leading apparel company. In his spare time, Thom works as a freelance artist, developed his own clothing line, and writes and illustrates his own line of children's books. When he isn't creating and designing, he can usually be found somewhere in the water close to the pier surfing in his favorite breaks of his home base town of Huntington Beach.
Just a few of the clients that Thom has designed and created art for are Disney, Fox Studios, Universal Studios, RonJon Surf, Hard Rock Cafe, Marvel Studios and many more.
